An Irish personal evangelistic site. I'm not representing a particular church, but it's broadly evangelical in tone. My aim is to cover topics I've encountered in discussions I've had over the years, mainly here in Ireland..
I’ve been exploring some of the very modern worship songs as an old guy 😀. But now, I’ve decided to alternate between very modern hymns, old hymns, and in-between hymns, namely the worship songs from the 60s to the 90s that feature in hymnbooks such as Mission Praise. Today it’s the turn of the in-between … Continue reading Hymns: Jesus, Name Above All Names
When I was a teenager, we saw 18 as the light at the end of the tunnel. So, perhaps that was the moment. In my earlier teens, we used to think in terms of drinking in pubs and clubs and going to “over-18” movies. As it happened, I committed my life to Christ when I … Continue reading 1980

Tough question – I like dinner to be relaxing. If I was with someone famous, I’d be a bit nervous 😁. I have read plenty of fiction over the years, but mainly the classics. So, it would need to be someone like Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, George Elliot, Jane Austin , Anthony Trollope, or Emily … Continue reading Wayne Grudem
I remember being in a car crash some years ago. Thankfully, none of us were seriously injured, but the car was a write off. I was on a road perhaps around 40 miles from home. This stranger was hanging around looking at us standing next to the wreck. And then he offered to drive us … Continue reading Good Samaritan
