I don’t know if I miss oudated technolgies much, but I am nostalgic about old telephones. I’ve never beeen all that fond of phones, but when I see old ones or telephone boxes, I do get a wave of nostalgia.
And vehicles such as older cars, buses or trains give me good feelings too. But maybe, I wouldn’t have that if they weren’t outdated. The same applies to hymns that we no longer sing in church. I’m quite nostalgic about some “new” songs from the 1980s. And many modern churches no longer sing any old hymns. But I can get them all on YouTube. Here are a couple of my favourites, one very old and the other “modern” – at least it was back in the early 1980s 😀
I try not to despise new hymns or new things. I often yearn to be back in the 1980s, but if I could teleport back to 1980, maybe I’d begin to miss life in 2026. The ideal thing would be able to time travel everyday. I can do it through my memories anyway – and through music 😀.
