An Irish personal evangelistic site. I'm not representing a particular church, but it's broadly evangelical in tone. My aim is to cover topics I've encountered in discussions I've had over the years, mainly here in Ireland..
Generally speaking, when I think of skills that I’d like to master, I consider my various careers, leisure interests and spiritual interests. I’d like to have been better at everything. My careers centered around mechanical engineering, teaching, Christian work, and IT. And I’ve always been keen on playing musical instruments – mainly keyboard and guitar. … Continue reading Hymn Writing
I’ve been exploring some of the very modern worship songs as an old guy 😀. But now, I’ve decided to alternate between very modern hymns, old hymns, and in-between hymns, namely the worship songs from the 60s to the 90s that feature in hymnbooks such as Mission Praise. Today it’s the turn of the old … Continue reading Hymns: Here is Love, Vast as the Ocean
Just for fun, I decided to create a list of songs that entered the UK charts on every June that I have lived through. I limited it to one per year. It wasn’t until about 1971 that I was familiar with them at the time, but I did get to know the 1960s songs in … Continue reading All My June’s

Well, I haven’t grown physically. At my age, people sometimes start to grow smaller rather than taller 😀. Hopefully that won’t happen for a while yet. Mentally? I don’t know anything that I can associate specifically with this year. Over the last few years, I’ve been adjusting to being in my sixties. It still feels … Continue reading Spiritually I Hope

I like my 20-year-old self. Maybe I’d tell him to stay 20 forever. Hopefully, I’ll be around 20 in heaven, or 18. I think of that as my proper age. Maybe I’d be more keen to listen to him than have him listen to me. 1982/1983 were happy years for me. I lived in London, … Continue reading Stay 20 😀

I ‘d need to use AI to write a guide to setting healthy boundaries in relationships. I’m a 20th century person. I’m a bit out of my depth in the 21st century. I cope with it all by instinct. I don’t really analyze it. I have lots of wonderful memories of so many people throughout … Continue reading Me? Write a Guide? 😱
