An Irish personal evangelistic site. I'm not representing a particular church, but it's broadly evangelical in tone. My aim is to cover topics I've encountered in discussions I've had over the years, mainly here in Ireland..
Well, as you go through the stages of life, you worry about different things – whether girls find me attractive, what find of a career I’ll end up with, and day-to-day stresses at work and so on. Now that I’m retired, my chief worry is probably health issues. I don’t have any major health issues, … Continue reading Hell or Purgatory
I’ve been exploring some of the very modern worship songs as an old guy 😀. But now, I’ve decided to alternate between very modern hymns, old hymns, and in-between hymns, namely the worship songs from the 60s to the 90s that feature in hymnbooks such as Mission Praise. Today it’s the turn of the very … Continue reading Hymns: Egypt

Romans 8:2828 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. I have this fantasy that I’d like to fulfil – but it’s just a fantasy. When I die and go to heaven, I’d like to visit a virtual version of my life … Continue reading Romans 8:28

As for physical travel, I’ve mainly travelled around Ireland and the UK. I did visit some countries in Europe. So, I’ll list Europe, the UK, and Ireland. … Continue reading Real or Virtual?
Just for fun, I decided to create a list of songs that entered the UK charts on every August that I have lived through. I did the same for June and July on other posts. I limited it to one per year. It wasn’t until about 1971 that I was familiar with them at the … Continue reading All My August’s

I have many favourite Bible quotes. I can’t really say if there is a single one that always stands out more than the rest. But one that comes to mind is the following: Colossians 3:1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand … Continue reading Things Above
I like the story of John Harper, a Scottish minister who evangelized in the icy waters of the Atlantic ocean during the sinking of the Titanic, just before drowning. There’s a brief summary on the following site: The Man Who Died Preaching He pleaded with people to believe in the Lord Jesus. People are often … Continue reading Believe in the Lord Jesus
