If you had to sum up your life philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

Maybe I’d choose “All You Need is Love”. I remember hearing All You Need is Love in Youghal, a seaside resort near Cork City, in 1968. I was just six years old. Nice message to hear.
The general lyrics are a little confusing to me, but the chorus is pretty simple. Yet, perhaps people interpret it differently. I like to think of the reply of Jesus to someone who asked him about the greatest commandment:
Matthew 22:35-39
35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
I fall far short of keeping such commandments, which is why I need a Saviour. But after I repented and believed in the Saviour and felt sure that I’ll be in heaven because of what He has done for me, my goal was, and is, to be like Jesus and show great love for God and others. I might fall short, but that shouldn’t stop me from making it my life philosophy. And I like it when I hear of people from other faiths or no religious faith showing love. My hope is that all of us will love the one true God with all our hearts, souls, and minds. But however we differ on the details, I want to live in a world where love is cherished.
