The genie grants you a wish. What is it?

Mentally, I’m pretty obsessed with memories of my earlier life. I’d like to be able to quietly travel to different periods of my life, both as an external observer or maybe to live in my younger body, but be aware that I’m only visiting 😀. I also enjoy armchair travelling through YouTube and GoogleEarth and Google Streetview apps, but I’d like to actually teleport to all these places. And teleporting through world history and the whole universe would be fun too. And it would be nice to have the option of changing things. Perhaps it would be a big ask to make major changes, such as stopping wars. But I think of events such as tragic car accidents that occurred throughout my life that so easily might not have happened.
Well, I don’t believe in genies, but it’s nice to have fictional, hypothetical notions. And I’m pleased that I can teleport mentally. Life might be very dull if we couldn’t do that. Maybe some have very little knowledge of the wider world or their own past. I sometimes wonder if animals can fantasize or reflect on their past.
And my hope for the future is God putting everything right in heaven for all those who believe in Him.
Revelation 21:1-5
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
You get lots of debates and opinions about the future, even among evangelical Christians (like me), but I’m happy to trust God for the future. Even if I wasn’t happy to trust Him, it’s still in His hands. And in this world, all I can do is to try to do my little bit to make the world a better place and to point people to Jesus, who opens up heaven for all those who repent and believe in Him.
Everything will be better in the new creation. Here’s another silly fantasy of mine – wouldn’t it be good if we had a computer game in heaven that recreated the old creation, so you could go where you like in time or space in the game 😀 – without being distressed. In current computer games, I regularly fight monsters without being distressed 😀.
Here are some songs about heaven or the new heaven and new earth:
