Finally, a question that I can’t answer 😀. I hardly know what a meme is. I first heard the term at a lecture back in 2007, which was held in Maynooth. Theologian, Alister McGrath, mentioned the term in a talk that he gave about Richard Dawkins’ The God Delusion. I can’t remember what he said. Maybe I should listen again. You can hear it on the Christians in Science Ireland site.
And the kids mentioned misleading links that play Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up.
But I’m old enough to remember when the song was popular. I didn’t like the song much at the time, but nowadays, I like anything form the 20th century, which is my home century. I drifted into this century back in December 1999. In fact, I drifted into a whole new millennium 😀.
Anyway, I can’t think of any favourite meme. I asked a few AI apps to tell me the most popular ones, and I wasn’t familiar with any of them.
I found this on a Christian meme site. I like the verse. I’m a little bit puzzled as to why it’s presented as a meme. I thought that memes are meant to be funny.

Actually, now that I think about it, I do remember this funny video from 10 years ago. If that’s a meme, it’s my favourite one 😀. It got 14 million views and 15,093 comments.
