An Irish personal evangelistic site. I'm not representing a particular church, but it's broadly evangelical in tone. My aim is to cover topics I've encountered in discussions I've had over the years, mainly here in Ireland..
It’s quite a normal thing for me to hit 5,000 steps. It sounds like a lot, but it’s just a couple of miles. I always start the day with a mile walk, and weather permitting, I generally take another couple of walks throughout the day. It feels very natural for me, but I realize that … Continue reading You’ll Never Walk Alone
I’ve been exploring some of the very modern worship songs as an old guy😀. But now, I’ve decided to alternate between very modern hymns, old hymns, and in-between hymns, namely the worship songs from the 60s to the 90s that feature in hymnbooks such as Mission Praise. Today it’s the turn of the in-between hymns. … Continue reading Hymns: His Name is Higher

But I didn’t really like trendy folk masses 😀 even though I was into pop music. Then, when I became an evangelical Christian in 1980, many of … Continue reading Contemporary Christian Music
Any significant decisions that I ever made were only made after much thought. I don’t think I’d describe them as “following my gut”. But perhaps intuition sometimes does play a part. However, for most decisions, I can’t say if they were exactly right. For example, when choosing careers, where to live, and so on, things … Continue reading Where He Leads Me, I Will Follow

This post needs a spoiler alert. If you’ve only seen the original 1977 movie, beware 😀. So, isn’t Anakin Skywalker the same person as Darth Vader? Yes and no. He is the same person, but at the close of The Empire Strikes Back, he had a dramatic conversion from the dark side. You didn’t see … Continue reading Anakin Skywalker
