An Irish personal evangelistic site. I'm not representing a particular church, but it's broadly evangelical in tone. My aim is to cover topics I've encountered in discussions I've had over the years, mainly here in Ireland..

How does your mindset affect your financial success? View all responses I hope that my mindset is affected by the Bible. In many circumstances, an intense desire for wealth can lead to evil behaviour. Yet, if you’re poor due to laziness or lack of ambition, you can end up being dependant on others. I don’t have a pet. I remember a talking a horse and donkey on TV – Francis the talking mule and Mr. Ed. I must watch these soon – I loved them. 😀. And I remember animals singing in The Jungle Book. There was the sinister snake – maybe that was influenced by the serpent … Continue reading “Goodness! – I Can Talk Now” 😀
If I got bored with a book, I’d just stop reading it. Maybe I stuck with some boring books out to the end, but I can’t remember regretting that I read a book. I only ever flew twice – Shannon (Ireland) to Gatwick (UK) and back. I generally use a ferry. I vote for Shannon as the best. In Gatwick, I couldn’t find a bin to dispose of my empty coke can. And then, when I went through the search, it set off the alarm. They just laughed … Continue reading Shannon Airport

And I’m sure I’ve done some brave things in nightmares. As for the real world, we can be brave in all sorts of ways, but … Continue reading I Fought Monsters 😀
The most radical change that I made was going from being a Roman Catholic to an evangelical Christian when I was 18. But maybe it wasn’t all that different. Even as a Roman Catholic, I was encouraged to love God, love others, and recogize that I needed a Saviour. I remember learning to sing part … Continue reading Nothing Much?

I don’t remember finding anything very significant. I do remember being in town with my daughter around 25 years ago and finding a purse or a wallet. We brought it down to the police station, and they contacted the owner and gave it back to her. And she sent flowers to our house to thank … Continue reading Lost and Found
