My blog isn’t building a business. I am vaguely familiar with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – but I’ve never really needed to do it. Much of the material on my site relates to Christianity, specifically the evangelical perspective. But, the web is full of fabulous resources about all that.

This site is just a personal perspective. I am pleased when people read it, but I don’t imagine that SEO would make much of a difference. Even if no-one ever read it, engaging with my blog every day is helpful to me. And over the years, I’ve benefited much from big names, such as great historical figures, famous preachers, and famous theologians. But I’ve also been blessed by ordinary people who were nobodies. So, I don’t imagine that I’ll ever be famous – but I can be a nobody, and what I write might be of some use to somebody. And I do often point to interesting resources that have proved helpful to me, such as hymns, YouTube videos, and audio resources. For example, I sometimes mention Wayne Grudem’s audio lectures. I discovered these back in 2006, having purchased his Systematic Theology book back in 1996. But nowadays, there’s an overwhelming amount of resources on YouTube. You get some anti-Christian stuff or silly or sinister Christian stuff. But much of it is great. And anytime I ask AI about some puzzling Bible verse, it gives me sensible answers, and sometimes different points of view – which is good to set me thinking. I wouldn’t want to have to compete with all that πŸ˜€.

If my site grows successful and I become bigger than the Beatles, maybe I will focus more on SEO πŸ˜€.

Anyway, I always close with a few hymns. Maybe I should find a couple on searching or finding πŸ˜€.
