If you had to switch lives with a fictional character for a week, who would you choose?

Most fictional characters that I admire have pretty scary lives, so it might not be a very pleasant experience to switch lives with them for a week.
Maybe I’d like to be Inspector Morse for a week, or Lewis, his assistant. Maybe I’d fit Morse more, being a melancholy sort 😩. And I do love Oxford, and his Jaguar car. But sometimes I feel more like Lewis 😀 – but then I wouldn’t own the Jaguar.
I’ve tried to get into classical music since my teens, but I was never able to until I started watching Morse. And then I bought some CDs of the soundtrack, and that changed everything.
Back when it was first on TV, I was around 30. He seemed like an old guy to me. But he wasn’t all that old. He was around 50. I’m older than him now. His character died, but sadly John Thaw himself died in 2002, at 60. My wife and I regularly watch the old episodes. Our favourite is Twilight of the Gods, which was the last regular episode in 1993. We never enjoyed the additional episodes much. The final one was in 2000, where Morse died, two years before John Thaw himself died.
I always like to end with a couple of hymns. Here are two that featured in Inspector Morse. “My Soul There is a Country featured in the first episode, and “The Day Thou Gavest Lord Has Ended” featured in the final episode.
