What’s your best tip for budget travel?

I don’t really travel much, but my kids get cheap flights on Ryanair. And I’m often impressed with the low prices of nice hotels in Eastern Europe – places such as Slovenia.
I do most of my travelling on YouTube and Google Streetview – or games, such as Train Simulator, Flight Simulator, and Eurotruck Simulator 😀. And my Meta Quest virtual reality (VR) headset is great too – particular for Street View apps and 8k 3D videos – though there aren’t all that many available. But even watching 2D YouTube videos on my headset is quite immersive. Some videos are old TV shows, others people on holidays, and other mainly scenery with background music. I enjoy them all.
Sorry for such a silly answer – but I want to stick to the habit of answering the prompts everyday 😀.
Anyway, I’ll end with a few hymns about the world.
