I’ve always enjoyed simulator games, such as driving F1 cars, rally cars, aircraft and trains. Some years ago, I purchased Euro Truck Simulator 2 on sale.
As with many games that I get on sale, I often try them and leave them aside for the moment. But I got back into this one, and now I play it quite frequently. I find add-ons on sale quite frequently on Steam.
I’ve yet to use any of the advanced features. I just choose a location around Europe, such as Estonia, switch on local radio and use QuickDrive to drive to my destination for around 30 minutes or so. I’ll save and come back if it’s a long journey.
It might seem like a waste of time, but I’ve earned over 600,000 Euro. Only thing is that it’s mock money – but I’m only driving mock trucks 😀.
I always like to feature music and Christianity in my blog. I don’t see how I can easily weave Christianity into this one. I can be thankful to God for creation, and human creativity is part of that. Relaxing and unwinding is helpful for us all. We are designed to work, rest, and play. And driving in Euro Truck Simulator 2 feels like all three to me.
What about music? Here’s a few truck songs – funny that all truck songs seem to be Country and Western ones. I just listen to local European radio when I play. I also have American Truck Simulator, which I also got on sale, but I’m too busy driving around Europe at the moment 😀 – but maybe I’ll listen to some of these when I get back to American Truck Simulator.
