Given that my name is Paul, I already have lots of things named after me, including St. Paul’s cathedral in London. Of course, people will undoubtedly claim that they’re named after the Apostle Paul. It’s true that he’s had a big impact on the world, but maybe someone would like to apply all the “Paul” cities, cathedrals etc. to my name, given that I get more likes on WordPress.com than he got in his day – assuming that WordPress.com was around back in the first century.
Of course, The Bible does sell around 80–100 million each year and, I prefer reading all about Paul in the book of Acts, and his New Testament epistles to reading my own blog posts. So, maybe we can leave well alone and just name New York after me. New York is such a silly name really 😀. Actually, the sun doesn’t have a proper name, unlike most stars. So maybe they could name the sun after me, or even the universe. We’ll see how it goes 😀.
I found a song about the Apostle Paul.

There’s the adjective‘Pauline’, which when combined with the indefinite article, ‘a’, sounds a bit like ‘appalling’. 😁
Paul is a fine name though.
I’m John. I like the ‘beloved of God’ rather than the other negative connotations.
