Ah! An easy question. Here’s a list of 10 websites that I frequently visit. I’ve used my own site as the title because I wanted to have a unique title. I feel like somone choosing their own songs on Desert Island Discs π. But I do spend most of my time on my own site.
- YouTube – I am so grateful for YouTube. It’s getting better and better.
- Facebook – People tend to be very critical of Facebook these days, but I still like it. I particularly like finding old photos of Cork city and getting news of bargains.
- BibleGateway.com – My goto Online Bible.
- Gospel Coalition – This has lots of Christian resources. I list other Christian websites on my Audio Resources post.
- Retrocharts – This is good for finding what pop songs were in the UK charts on specfic months in years gone by. I think it stops somewhere in the noughties. But you can use Official Charts for later info, though I’ve always preferred Retrocharts.
- HiberniaGospel.com – Well, I do visit quiet often, but it’s a stupid place π.
- Google Sites – Here you can create free web sites. I haven’t made any publically available, but I’ve created an online chronicle of my life on it, which I can access from my computers and phone. It’s been great fun.
- Copilot – I don’t know if this is the best AI site, but it’s the one that I use.
- RIP.ie – I used this to check if anyone that I know has passed away in the last couple of days. I saw my name on it a few weeks ago, but I don’t think it was me π.
- FlightRadar23.com – I don’t travel much these days, but I often check it if my daughters are travelling. I have used it to discover what planes are flying over my house too.
I use many more sites, but these are ones that I probably use most frequently. I tried to find a song about the internet. This is the best that I can do. π
I generally close with a Bible verse, but what does the Bible say about the internet? You do find mention of people using tablets, but I don’t think they’re iPads. π Well they didn’t have the Internet in New Testament times, but it wasn’t just face-to-face communication. For example, John wrote the following, probably on papyrus. The medium changes, but the message is the same.
1 John 5:13
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
And it’s getting easier to spread the message nowadays.

I use co-pilot too, it’s very good….π

Google sites is good, I too have a few private test sites on it.
I also run a couple of WordPress in private mode.
Will add desert island disks to my podcast list. Cheers
