At last! A simple question, but I can’t see myself winning any awards for this post π.
I would eat muesli because I generally write my blog posts in the mornings. I remember the introduction of Alpen and Country Store back in the 1970s. For many years, I ditched the Cornflakes and Weetabix in favour of muesli. Then I got distracted. I’ve only recently gone back to muesli. I understand that it’s quite healthy. And it takes me to Switzerland!

So does the Bible ever mention muesli? Not really, but this verse reminds me of muesli.
Genesis 43:11
11 Then their father Israel said to them, βIf it must be, then do this: Put some of the best products of the land in your bags and take them down to the man as a giftβa little balm and a little honey, some spices and myrrh, some pistachio nuts and almonds.
And I think of more general verses about God providing us with food:
Matthew 6:11
βGive us this day our daily bread.β
Acts 14:17 (After the Apostle Paul healed a man, the people of Lystra thought that Paul was a god. Paul directed them toward the true God and mentioned how he provides them with food and joy.)
17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.β
And for music, I’ll choose a harvest hymn and a Swiss themed hymn music video.
So, that’s my muesli post. Perhaps it’ll go viral and spark off a huge Christian revival that will be known in future centuries as the Great 2026 Muesli Revival. Hopefully, I’ll get the credit for starting it. π.
