I don’t know how to answer this one. I generally like my routine, but I am prone to put off getting my hair cut. But you can’t really skip that. I wonder what would happen if I just let it grow and grow?

Microsoft Copilot Answer:
If you never cut your hair, it will eventually stop growing longer and become more prone to damage, breakage, and split ends.
Maybe I should have gone bald, like Errol Brown in Hot Chocolate. He is said to have shaved his hair off as a joke, and then he adopted that look for the rest of his life. But I’m a short white guy. And I’m not a pop star, so maybe it wouldn’t work as well for me 😄.
A few years ago, my hair was growing slowly, so I didn’t need to get it cut that much, but now it’s growing fast again. What we need is an artificial intelligence (AI) device that we can use at home. But I shouldn’t dread going to the barber really. It’s not as bad as the dentist 😩.
I’d also be inclined to skip mowing the lawn. And when I was working, I would have very happily skipped commuting in heavy traffic. But I was able to work from home from 2010, well before the COVID lockdown.

I like to weave pop music and Christianity into my posts. For pop music, I could mention two songs about daily routine – both named 9 to 5, and both from the early 80s. I often wish that I could travel in time and choose days in different eras of my life and go through my daily routine. At the time it felt so mundane, but now it feels magical.
And I like to weave some Christian message into my posts. What can I say today? I suppose I could remind myself how important it is to have communion with God as part of our daily routine. We shouldn’t skip that.
Read a little bit of the Bible, listen to or sing a hymn, pray and so on. And of course nowadays, I can watch all sorts of things on YouTube and listen to podcasts. I think of the following verses:
Joshua 1:8
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Psalm 1:1-2
Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
